**Position Overview**:
We are looking to fill one (1) User Support Technician position on a full-time basis. Upon successful completion of a 3-month probationary period, the position may lead to a permanent full-time position with medical and dental benefits.
- Troubleshooting and maintaining network coverage for all computers and systems that support CNC Machines and other technical equipment
- Maintaining network servers
- Investigate and resolve software problems in a timely manner
- Collect, organize and maintain a user log of problematic issues regarding software glitches and user-ability
- Purchasing computer hardware and software to conform with the company’s technical requirements
- Hardware and software installation
- Complete paperwork to maintain records and department standards;
- Organize and compile complex blueprints and/or job orders and input them to the ERP system
- Create and maintain systems to prevent vulnerable cybersecurity threats
- Provide instructions to staff regarding use of computers, software and other technical equipment
- Provide technical support and training to staff regarding the use of various software programs, network troubleshooting, etc.
**Position Requirements**:
- Completion of a two - three year college program or equivalent in computer science, computer programming, network administration or in a related discipline;
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience as a user support technician
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience as a user support technician with a background in business and ERP systems as an asset
- Microsoft Certifications in user and desktop support as an asset
- Must have a strong level of knowledge in managing and organizing an inventory of various software programs
- Fluency in verbal and written English;
- Ability to perform tasks/assignments with mínimal supervision.
**Salary, hours of work and location**:
$32 per hour (depending on experience), 5 days per week, Delta, BC area
