**Your Role**:

- Review food and general merchandise Central Receiving documents to ensure the stores are complying with Central Receiving policies and action any discrepancies;
- Communicate with stores for receipt of weekly receiving registers, and follow up on missing packing slips, claims, and clarification of documents and inventory results;
- Analyze and adjust preliminary and stock ledger reports to reflect proper cumulative markup percentages, note and investigate all irregular markups that exceed the predetermined markup guidelines, and investigate errors in markdowns;
- Reconcile and balance store monthly stock ledger transactions to the general ledger for sales, end of period stock levels, and cost of goods sold;
- Calculate, analyze, and distribute store food inventory results on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis;
- Calculate, analyze, and distribute, store general merchandise inventory results on an annual basis; and
- Respond to store and management queries.

**Desired Skills & Experience**:

- Must possess 1 to 2 years of related accounting experience or a combination of education and experience in a related field;
- Previous experience in account reconciliation and data entry preferred;
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products with a focus on Microsoft Excel is required;
- Must possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Proven organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills;
- Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and assignments while adhering to strict deadlines;
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service to all levels of internal and external customers;
- Previous knowledge of store receiving and inventory procedures and systems such as Corporate Radar, Retek, and Peoplesoft is an asset;
- Must be available to work overtime as required; and
- Ability to communicate in French is an asset.
