about this team
The Outbound Logistics Strategy & Optimization team is responsible for developing and executing the long-term logistics strategy and optimizing the logistics network. The team works closely with the Logistics Operations team, a diverse group of internal stakeholders and our logistics vendors to provide best-in-class logistics solutions. Reporting to the Manager, Logistics Analytics and Spend the Logistics Analyst will be key to enable data driven decision making and providing the team and other stakeholders with impactful reporting and insights.

a day in the life
- Turn large amounts of data into insights and meaningful reporting
- Take on ownership for Retail Logistics reporting including the generation of timely and accurate reporting
- Present reporting & relevant findings to stakeholders
- Work with cross-functional partners to ensure you have all the data from various sources to use in analyses and reporting
- Scrutinize data carefully to identify operational improvement opportunities or data issues
- Conduct data driven deep dives on specific topics in collaboration with the logistics team and our Retail & eCom partners
- Work closely with the Reporting Analysts and a cross-functional business & technology team to enhance the Outbound Logistics Power BI reporting suite
- Collaborate with logistics vendors to fully understand provided data, share insights and drive improvements
- Support the team in vendor sourcing exercises and cost modelling

qualifications
- A passion for data combined with a curiosity to understand the details
- Proven experience in creating influential data visualizations using Power BI, data mining and working with large relational databases
- Proficient in Power BI or other data analytics software and SQL.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to conduct logistics modeling and financial analysis
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and manage priorities; Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives
- Undisputed integrity, personal and business ethics; ability to build trust and respect with different stakeholder groups.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
- Experience with logistics and/or supply chain management is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in related field - Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, statistics, mathematics
