The Granite Club is looking for a Program Instructor responsible for providing creative and innovative quality programs to Members’ children.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Provide excellent care of children, ensuring that a safe play area is maintained.
- Set-up room with appropriate equipment for the program.
- Provide monthly program plans, specific to the program, that encourage creative, social and gross motor skills development.
- Provide snacks and refreshments to children ensuring a nut free environment is maintained while being familiar of all participants dietary restrictions
- Attend monthly program meetings and give session feedback to Supervisor.
- Remove and report any damaged or unsafe toys, games and equipment to the Child Activities Supervisor
- Ensure a clean, neat and sanitary environment.
- Complete attendance record and inform the Child Activities Supervisor of any non-registered participants that need to be registered.
- Handle general inquiries and program registration.
- Provide daily updates to the Child Activities Supervisor.
- Participate in all staff meetings.
- Establish positive relationships with parents

**Required Qualifications**
- Minimum grade 12
- ECA/ECE Certification or equivalency or working towards ECA/ECE Certification preferred
- Experience working with children (infants, toddlers and preschool ages) essential.
- First Aid and C.P.R. certification required.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English.

**Work Schedule**

Must be available to work weekends, weekdays and/or holidays, AM and PM.
