**Assistant Batch Maker/ Chemical Compounder**

**Cleaning Chemical Manufacturer in Niagara Falls seeking a **Full-time **Assistant Batch Maker**

**Hours: Monday to Friday, **7:30 am**:

- **4:30 pm

**Basic Job Functions**:

- Assisting Senior Batch maker with blending, mixing, and preparing batches in accordance to written specifications/procedures for quality, safety & productivity
- Conduct in-process testing on finished products, such as: pH, viscosity and specific gravity.
- Conduct visual inspections of tanks and ensuring they are washed and cleaned ahead of product transfer.
- Work in a safe manner while wearing all required personal protective equipment and ensuring deadlines are met
- Keep your work area tidy and organized, and free of trip and other hazards
- Ensure all documentation required during the production process is filled out as required by QA/Regulatory procedures.
- Following Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and observing good housekeeping.
- Ensure always working in a safe way to support fellow staff in maintaining a safe, clean and compliant working environment.
- This individual must be dexterous, high energy, and possess strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to stand throughout the day
- Working on filling lines, and any other job assigned by the department supervisor.
- Perform manual labor tasks (stacking, lifting, etc.) as required
- Other duties as assigned by the Lead hands/ supervisors or management

**Requirements**:

- High school or equivalent education level
- Need basic mathematical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Forklift certification and reach truck driving experience preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing/ industrial environment is an asset. **Full training provided**:

- Be willing to work overtime when required
- Adherence to company policies, values, and health & safety procedures

WHIMS and TDG knowledge preferred

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
