Chiropractic Front Desk Assistant

**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently. Computer knowledge is required for working with the EHR (electronic health records) system.
- Processing incoming new patients
- Assist with administrative duties including filing, proofreading documents, and managing correspondence.
- Schedule appointments.
- Handle inquiries from clients regarding services offered and provide necessary information.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment.
- Overseeing the OTC cash collections
- Balancing end of day and batch POS machine.
- Utilize Point of Sale terminal for basic financial transactions, excel spreadsheets and record keeping.
- Helping to inspire patients to get on purpose with this office: done through promoting of lectures and events.
- Helping to coach patients through their care.
**Skills**
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in EHR or similar accounting software is an asset.
- Excellent proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Efficient skills using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and administrative tasks.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills for effective client interaction.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong phone skills with the ability to make calls to reschedule appointments.
- Comfortable in collecting fees for services.
- Creativity in decorating office for themed events and promotions.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 17 - 20 per week

**Experience**:
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (preferred)

- Data entry: 1 year (required)
- Organizational skills: 1 year (required)
