**The Role**:
As the Accounting Manager of our Manufacturing and Distribution Facility in Delta, B.C., you will be critical in leading and evolving the accounting functions for our Manufacturing Operations. We have and continue to grow fast. With your support and expertise, we look forward to you leading us into the next phase of our exciting success story.

**What Will You Be Doing?**
- Leading and coaching the Accounting Team by providing guidance and feedback on an ongoing and regular basis
- Reviewing and managing financial statements and job cost on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Managing the month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting closing procedures, including reviewing adjusting entries, working papers and reconciliations maintaining account balances, and ensuring completeness and integrity of G/L data
- Designing and improving internal controls and processes and ensuring all operational business processes and policies are efficient and documented
- Integrating operation and financial information to liaise with and advise the Senior Leadership Team and support the Manufacturing Operations
- Managing, reviewing and streamlining the inventory processes across multiple company banners and liaising with stakeholders on strategies to optimize our inventory levels
- Reviewing Cash needs on a weekly basis and releasing payments
- Maintaining and improving processes within our ERP system
- Managing the annual and ongoing budget and forecasting processes
- Managing the Year End Audit and liaising with external Auditors
- Liaising between other Business Units on matters related to the manufacturing operations and those affecting the accounting department
- Preparing various tasks, analytical and ad-hoc reports
- Fostering an environment that encourages employee engagement and motivates team members to perform at their best
- Possession of a CPA designation
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership or supervisory position
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience with a strong audit, financial reporting and internal controls background and exposure to both private and public companies, preferably in the manufacturing or retail sectors
- Strong analytical skills with advanced use of spreadsheets and Microsoft Office
- Demonstrable and robust leadership competencies with abilities to positively influence others, coach, mentor, support, and provide feedback, all while nurturing a positive and fun work environment
- Possesses advanced communication skills to provide guidance and/or instruction to all levels within the organization and explains difficult issues clearly, and tactfully, to the appropriate audience
- Self-motivated, technically proficient, and a critical thinker with a desire for continuous improvement and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Desire and initiative to take on challenges, including conceptual issues, and deliver results
- ERP systems knowledge, particularly with Netsuite, would be considered an asset
- Fluency in written and spoken French is an asset
