Motel Handyman and Maintenance

Looking for a handyman to do maintenance and repair work at a small motel. Work will be in the rooms, as well as outside and in common and office areas

Fixing and replacing sinks, toilets, and showers as well as basic maintenance like caulking

Unclogging plumbing, including deep clogs that may require changing pipes within the wall

Installing and replacing sockets and wiring in the rooms

AC/heating unit maintenance, repair, and installation

Fixing and patching holes and leaks in the walls and ceiling, replacing doors, painting, and other basic repairs

Maintaining and doing basic repairs on refrigerators, phones, washer and dryer, and ohter electronics

The focus will be on fixing problems as they arise and bigger repairs when rooms are empty, with extra basic maintenance throughout the week. Being on call and responding to emergencies is a major asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- On call

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
- Hotel or Residential: 2 years (preferred)
