**Location: In-clinic position located in Ottawa, ON. (2705 Queensview Drive, Ottawa, ON, K2B 8K2)**

**Salary Range: $43,000 to $48,000**

Modern OT Occupational Therapy Services, a division of the Lifemark Health Group, is Eastern Ontario's largest team of experienced occupational therapists, and we are seeking a Full-Time Invoicing and Accounts Receivable representative.

With clinical teams based out of Ottawa, Kingston and Pembroke, Modern OT offers services to individuals recovering from injuries, illness, and trauma, as they work to regain independence in their normal lives, including at home, school, in the community and in workplaces.

**We have an immediate opening for the Invoicing/Accounts Receivable position in Ottawa, ON.**

**What will you do?**
- Maintain up-to-date billing and client file management system
- Generate and send out invoices in accordance with required timelines
- Process, verify, and post receipts for goods sold or services rendered
- Research and resolve discrepancies
- Processing, collection, and allocation of payments in accordance with deadlines and approvals
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry into billing system and online portals, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts
- Perform account reconciliations
- Monitor account details for irregularities
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Generate reports and statements for internal use
- Process credit card payments
- Prepare bank deposits
- Investigate and resolve client queries
- Maintain patient privacy in all interactions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing
- Engage in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge.
- Process billing including auto insurance sector, Telus, Blue Cross.

- Post-secondary education in a related field such as accounting, finance, office management
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Team player, energetic, and resourceful
- Knowledge of accounts receivable, office administration
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Analysis, problem-solving skills, and time management skills
- Exceptional client and colleague communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Adapts quickly to changing priorities and needs
