**Description**:
We are looking for a manager with a joint mandate of supporting Core Product and as the Salesforce product owner, ideally with strong experience in product management or operation support for product development. A background in retail banking or financial services seen as an asset. You will contribute to the profit and loss (P&L) of the financial product, implementing strategies to drive the growth and profitability of the portfolio, as well as ongoing operational management collaborating cross-functionally. You will also act as a product manager for the Salesforce CRM at Embark, leading the scrum team and implementation of the product backlog.

You will work closely with the Director, Core products, to advance the product roadmap, collaborating closely cross-functionally with operations, IT, compliance, analytics and go-to-market teams. You will become an expert in RESP’s and offering both financial and non-financial value proposition that will assist in allowing more students to afford post secondary education.

**CHALLENGES TO BE MET**:

- You will support the advancement of the overall product roadmap by:
o Drive the development and ongoing operation of the financial products and product enhancements to drive business outcomes and customer value, collaborating with cross functional team (Digital and Design, IT, Compliance, Operations Project Management, Analytics, Marketing, Sales, etc.)

o Developing business cases for new initiatives, services and opportunities

o Work with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives and

o Work with digital product owners to define financial and non-financial product requirements

o Supporting the Director, Core Products in the annual prospectus renewal process
- You will be a financial product and RESP expert, representing product team and customer interests across cross-functional initiatives and in support of
- As Salesforce Product Manager you will:
o Support the development of the Salesforce product roadmap

o Intake and manage the product backlog and identify opportunities to maximize value

o Prioritize backlog items for upcoming releases, gathering requirements and writing user stories as required

o Leading the scrum team and sprint planning and daily stand-ups

o Coordination of deployments/testing to higher environments and monitoring the progress of product development and release planning.
- Analyze portfolio performance metrics, profitability and collaborate with the analytics team to develop product & customer insights and recommendations
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customers, your product area, the market and competitive environment (customer, technology, competition, regulatory activities, etc.)

**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- University Degree in Business or equivalent
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in product management, product operations, ideally in retail banking
- Experience working in an Agile project setting
- Team player strives to improve and innovate processes
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, are disciplined and comfortable with ambiguity
- Detail oriented, with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong experience working with Salesforce CRM
- Strong experience with the Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
