**SUMMARY**

Slot Attendant: To provide quality customer service for all casino patrons. To develop, enhance and maintain positive and effective relations with customers and other employees. To operate within, and comply with all rules and regulations put forth by Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commissions.

Slots Shift Manger: Manage Slot and Cage operations area - in compliance with the AGLC and other applicable municipal, provincial and federal laws and regulations - for the duration of the shift. Assist in maintaining good public relations with patrons and maintain an open-door policy with all employees. Comply with safety and security standards of the company while orientating staff to operations and complying with pre-determined internal control procedures. Is responsible for the administration and day to day supervision and operation of the department.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Supervises the floor and cage area to ensure that all employees are following policies and procedures.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Must be over 18 years of age. Demonstrated experience in supervising floor operations in the casino environment. Demonstrated experience in key and asset handling and securing. Demonstrated effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills which includes contact with employees and customers. Demonstrated experience monitoring, scheduling and motivating staff. Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and IE. Demonstrate manual dexterity, able to lift and/or push 35 to 75lbs, working any day and time of the week.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**

Graduation from high School or equivalent. Three or more consecutive years of recent and related supervisory experience within a gaming environment. Gaming experience essential.

**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**

Must have a valid and current Alberta Gaming license. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

**OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES**

Experience with software, including Microsoft Office and Windows XP.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**

Essential duties involve performing physical exertion: frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks. Essential duties may also require pushing or lifting 35 to 75lbs in weight.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

Essential duties involve working in an inside environment, which may become warm as a result of performing the physical demands of the work.

**MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED**

Supply and storage equipment used includes dollies and carts for transporting money, bill and ticket counting machines, keys, computers, scanners, calculators, occasional use of hand tools, safety equipment and office equipment including computers, photocopiers, staplers and tape.
