**The Opportunity**

We are actively seeking an Information Processing Clerk to join our Purchasing team at AGI Swift Current, a division of AGI. In this role you will provide support and perform work associated with data processing activities. Work requires judgment and initiative. You will acquire the necessary skills to enable prompt and efficient preparation of computer assisted data.

**The Team**

We are currently a dynamic team of 3 from varied backgrounds. We collaborate closely with each other as well as the entire AGI Swift Current Leadership Team. The role will report directly to the Purchasing Manager.

**Responsibilities**
- Data entry for the Purchasing team and supporting other areas within the group
- Client inquiry assistance will be a key component within this position
- Dealing with different vendors to negotiate price reductions and ensure suppliers remain compliant to commitments
- Establishing and maintaining networks internally and externally
- Other duties as assigned to assist with team requirements

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma
- Proficiency using MS Excel and Outlook is mandatory
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Be a proactive member of the team
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to prioritize and plan
