**_PURPOSE: _**

Ø To assist with all departments with the hotel and oversee the property in the absence of the General Manager. To manage the front office function of the hotel, focused on occupancy, room rates (ADR and RevPar). Assisting with catering and functions as required.

Ø To achieve market share dominance, increase (RevPar) in relation to the competitive set on a consistent basis.

**_RESPONSIBILITIES: _**

Ø Assist in the management of all departments with an emphasis on the hotel front office team;
Ø Have a physical presence at the Front Desk during peak periods, VIP check ins, and times conducive to ensuring smooth operation of the Front Desk including but not limited to daily check ins, check outs, etc.

Ø Assist with marketing strategies, tactics, business plans and budgets, and programs to effectively and efficiently market the Hotel;
Ø assist with internal advertising of guest services and promotions;
Ø execute all front office programs efficiently;
Ø ensure maximum market penetration, focusing on an appropriate ADR and occupancy mix at the hotel by focusing on yield management practices;
Ø ensure focus and results of the guest service team;
Ø provide reports as required;
Ø Any expenditures must be pre-approved by the General Manager;
Ø To manage, coach, develop, all staff in the Hotel;
Ø The Assistant General Manager shall ensure that the Hotel meets and exceeds guest expectations on a daily basis;
Ø All other duties and actions required to achieve all revenue and guest service goals;
Ø The duties and responsibilities of the Assistant General Manager may be changed, modified or amended from time to time.

Ø Manager on Duty Shifts as required.

Ø Maintaining above average guest service scores on a consistent basis.

Ø Any further duties assigned by the General Manager.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
