**Tanker Driver Job Description**

**Overview**

What we offer:

- $0.65 cents per mile
- $28.84 per Hour (Paid for Pre-trip, Post trip and fueling)

**Duties**
- Safely transport liquid cargo in a tanker truck to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Make sure the load is secured
- Deliver freight to customer safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and cargo transported.
- Year-round work in all weather conditions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

**Experience**
- Class 1 or AZ License
- with endorsements for tanker operation if required.
- Current Clean Driver's Abstract (within the last 30 days)
- Able to pass a Drug/Alcohol test and Criminal Record Check
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 75 lbs
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience or 150,000 km pulling articulating trailers endorsements for tanker operation.
- Mountain experience required (2 years)
- Weights and dimensions expertise
- ELogs Samsara tablets experience considered an asset
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with tankers or similar freight vehicles.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.84 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
