Food Safety Quality Assurance Manager

**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Develop, implement, and maintain food safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of food handling processes to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Train staff on food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and preparation techniques.
- Monitor and analyze data related to food safety incidents and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any food safety concerns or violations promptly.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Prepare reports for management detailing the status of food safety initiatives and compliance efforts.
**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA) and industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective training and collaboration with staff at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for conducting audits and inspections.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using software tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Certification in food safety management (e.g., ServSafe) is preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address potential issues proactively.

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
