Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Yard Person/Sheet Metal Worker will possess special skill sets. This is a full-time Monday to Friday role. Wage is $20 - $22 depending on experience.
- While sheet metal cut/bend is about 80% of the role the other 20% is to:

- Greet and service customers in the yard.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the yard to promote safety
- Help with loading and unloading trucks
- Ensure inventory is accurate and restocking is done in a timely manner
- Counting product thoroughly that comes into the yard to be received
- Any other related duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Available for all our open hours: 7am - 3:30 Mon - Fri
- High school, GED or combination of experience
- Basic math skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English - both written and spoken
- Ability to do physical labour (lift/move 35 - 80lbs)
- Customer service and safety focused.
- Good team player and flexible

**Qualifications (both required and that are an asset)**
- Valid forklift certificate or previous experience (we can recertify you if you have at least 2 yrs of SDCB forklift driving experience)
- Valid BC driver’s license would be an asset
- First Aid level 1 would be an asset
- Mechanically inclined, we can teach the sheet metal machine operation
