As part of our continued expansion, Aqua-Coast Engineering is looking to add a talented **Contingence Reserve Specialist**to our team.

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare **Depreciation Reports** in accordance with BC regulatory standards, including financial modeling for long-term contingency reserve planning.
- Conduct **Annual Building Envelope Reviews**, identifying deficiencies, assessing overall performance, and providing recommendations for maintenance and repairs.
- **Building Envelope Maintenance Manuals**, a documented review of typical building envelope maintenance
- Perform **Building Envelope Condition Assessments (BECA)**, documenting the condition of cladding systems, waterproofing, and other enclosure components.
- Assist **Airtightness Testing** team as required.
- Collaborate with clients, strata councils, and property managers to deliver clear and concise reports with actionable insights.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and scopes of work for asset management and building enclosure projects.
- Stay current with industry trends, codes, and best practices related to building science and asset management.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma in the following is an asset; Contingency Reserve Training, Building Science, Architecture, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in building envelope consulting, or contingency reserve reporting.
- Proficiency in **MS Office Suite** (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with building assessment software.
- Strong technical writing skills and the ability to produce clear, accurate, and detailed reports.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Valid **BC driver’s license** and access to a vehicle for site visits.
