Reporting to the Heath Surveillance Program Manager, you are responsible to support the services offered to companies who require medical surveillance under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. **"This is a part-time permanent position in which you will be providing mobile medical surveillance under the Occupational Health and Safety Act to companies within different regions of Ontario."** **_ We value our teammates, and we offer you full support from our clinical team with competitive compensation._** **No of Open positions**: 1 **Job Status**: Permanent, Part-Time **Responsibilities**: - To show Flexibility to support client schedules. - Provide Mobile medical surveillance services which require travel within regions of Ontario such as Waterloo Region, Simcoe County, Mississauga, Scarborough, Barrie. - Additional administrative functions to include expense reports (via Concur), and preparation of client files with required paperwork and documents. - Identify protocol development needs as per health surveillance program - Review Designated Substance Matrix (in conjunction with the clinical team) from predefined protocols. - Documenting and Updating all necessary documents through EMS software for new records and existing records. - Refer exemption requests to Health Center - Physician Review - Support Health Center MOA, Nurse, and Physician including position dictation for accurate records tracking - Perform accurate and fast Data Entry using the company used data entry software - Perform other related work as assigned by the supervisor. **Work Hours & Benefits**: - The compensation package shall commensurate with experience - Part-Time role (minimum 24hrs a week is required ) - Extended Health Care **Skills & Qualifications**: **Must Have**: - Computer literacy required (Microsoft Office ) - Valid CPR and First Aid certifications - Valid driver’s license required **Nice to Have**: - Diploma (DOHN) and/or Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN-C) is an asset - Experience with spirometry, audiometry, vision screening, and respirator fit testing an asset - Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse - Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario - PSW Certification - 3-5 years’ experience in Occupational Health Nursing **Skill Requirements**: - Ability to self-direct and to work independently - Ability to time-manage and prioritize - Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written - Ability to interact positively in partnerships/relationships with clients and their employees - Ability to adapt quickly to new situations/challenges with demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills - Demonstrated appreciation and respect for protocol, professionalism, and confidentiality - Knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and health surveillance requirements an asset, but can be honed on the job **COVID-19 precaution(s)**: - Remote interview process - Personal protective equipment provided or required - Social distancing guidelines in place - Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
