Contract Maintenance Planner

**Responsibilities**:
The Contract Maintenance Planner report to the Thermal Maintenance Planning Coordinator, and will partner with operations staff, maintenance senior coordinators, maintenance technicians, and schedulers to review, prioritize, and plan maintenance activities in a designated area.
- Develop job plans and work packages in collaboration with Maintenance Technicians, Senior Coordinators, and Operations, focusing on continuous improvement in planning and execution.
- Lead backlog reviews and turnaround planning, establishing routine and turnaround task lists in SAP.
- Participate in weekly Work Management meetings to prioritize and plan activities, identifying any overlooked maintenance needs.
- Engage in monthly cost reviews and annual budget meetings, maintaining and enhancing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Create and manage Bills of Materials, master data, and material requests in SAP, linking them to equipment records.
- Demonstrate forward-thinking and change agility by continuously improving processes and procedures.
- Communicate effectively, fostering collaboration across departments like Supply Chain, Reliability, Projects, Operations, and Maintenance.
- Utilize strong SAP skills and process knowledge to manage work efficiently and achieve departmental objectives.
**Education and Experience**:
- Holds a post-secondary diploma in Technology, Power Engineering, or has a Journeyman Trades Certification.
- Proficient with MS Office and CMMS, such as SAP PM, and Maximo.
- Experienced in plant operations and Centralized Maintenance Scheduling Systems like GWOS, Primavera, and safe work practices in oil and gas.
- Skilled in technology integration, operational integrity, reliability, and safety with a strong safety mindset.
- Familiar with EWR, MOD processes, Thermal Oil operations, and Client procurement practices.
- Over 5 years’ experience in energy industry maintenance, familiar with relevant codes, standards, and practices, including design, equipment, and process operations.
