**Key Responsibilities**:

- Instruct assigned courses using case-based learning, problem-based learning and technology supported learning among other instructional and assessment strategies.
- Give qualitative and quantitative feedback to students on assignments and exams.
- Follow and enforce NAIT policies, procedures and Academic Regulations.
- Research and build communities of professional practice.
- Engage in scholarly activity.
- Inspire students to leadership in business and their community.
- Liaise with business and community stakeholders.
- Support the school by engaging in institutional service as required.
- Promote the entrepreneurship program to prospective students and other stakeholders.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Demonstrate a desire to contribute to NAIT and the JR Shaw School of Business.
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal, organizational and classroom management skills.
- Excellent teaching skills with a commitment to teaching undergraduate students through a variety of delivery modes.
- Experience in online teaching.
- Demonstrate a commitment to scholarly activity, applied research and innovation.
- Passion for teaching and dedicated to student engagement and success.
- Dedicated to life-long learning and NAIT’s Values.
- Team player and respectful of others.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and various learning management tools.

**Qualifications**:

- Related Master’s degree with considerable related industry experience is required.
- Knowledge and experience in business planning, design thinking, business modelling, venture creation, venture capital, intrapreneurship and business scaling is considered an asset.
- Related instructional and curriculum development experience will be considered valuable.

**Remuneration**: Will commensurate with education and experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Instructor salary grid $2,462.86 - $4,284.34 biweekly. However, starting salary for new hires average between $2,462.86 - $3,243.48 biweekly based on education and experience with room for negotiations). (Classification - Instructor).
- This position is covered by the NAIT Academic Staff Association (NASA) Collective Agreement_
