Position Summary

Paladin Labs is committed to providing innovative therapies for disease areas with important unmet medical needs. Driven by this goal and with the highest scientific and ethics standards our Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) ensure that all our products are used safely and appropriately. The MSL is also responsible for ensuring compliance in regards to education, training and certification. Importantly, MSLs provide internal stakeholders with key field insights as well as relevant education opportunities on the disease areas and therapeutic landscape. The MSL also plays an important role in the medical information request process.

Medical Science Liaison Director

Specific Responsibilities
- Recognized by the Canadian healthcare providers as an expert and key scientific resource on the products and their use.
- Ensure right and safe use of product(s) through high quality scientific communications and interactions.
- Plan, organize and participate in Medical Education activities, hospital and patient support programs;
- Organize and participate in Advisory Boards.
- Provide scientific support and education to internal stakeholders.
- Support for relevant clinical trials.
- Training and certification of physicians and pharmacists for the use of our products.
- Support to relevant professional, research and patients organizations.
- Deliver timely and quality responses to Medical Information requests.
- Establish and maintain credibility with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in all the major centers.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the disease area and therapeutic landscape.
- Participate in relevant national and international conferences.
- Scientific honesty and integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to present and adapt presentations to his audience
- Experience with data organization and scientific rationale preparation
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Creative and autonomous
- Frequent travel across Canada

Required
- MD, PhD or PharmD
- More than 3 years of experience as MSL
- Knowledge of the therapeutic landscape (Neurology)
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong scientific, medical and pharmaceutical knowledge
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Good knowledge with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
