**Some of what you will do**

As the Inventory Control Analyst, you will perform month end closing activities such as analyses, journal entries and generation of reports. You will play a vital role in tracking, analyzing and control of inventory data, vendor rebate program and reporting on physical inventory counts to management.

**Specifically, You Will**
- Work closely with the business, including the stores, Merchandising and IT teams to resolve inventory related issues
- Support and liaise with the external auditors in their execution of the audits
- Perform month end closing activities such as analyses, journal entries and generation of reports
- Prepare account reconciliations and resolve issues and unreconciled differences
- Provide weekly, monthly, and annual reports and other information to all levels of management and non-management.
- Analyze complex information to prepare and maintain inventory records, physical inventory results, and vendor collection reports for various levels of management.
- Monitor and analyze inventory activities at store level to ensure that inventory information is accurate.
- Identify and execute process improvements
- Respect the high level of confidentiality of information.

**Some of what you need**
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Bilingual an asset.
- Strong judgment to solve problems that may be a complex nature.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Work within a team environment.
- 1-3 years previous general accounting experience.
- Post secondary diploma or degree with a focus on accounting/business administration.
- CPA designation or working towards a designation
