**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in equipment and machinery.
- Consult manufacturer's manuals and diagrams to determine test and maintenance procedures for appliances and machinery.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and oiling parts.
- Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturers' specifications.
- Repair or replace defective parts such as gears using hand tools.
- Reassemble equipment after repair or maintenance work is complete.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to improve repair processes and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair status and recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in repair techniques.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a repair technician or in a similar role in a relevant field.
- Strong understanding of operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment and machines.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree is a plus.
- Willingness to undergo background checks as required by company policy.
- A valid full driver’s license.
