**What is the role?**

Are you looking for a warehousing support role with a solid team in a well organized environment? As the Warehouse Team Lead you will provide logístical support including shipping, receiving, quality control, cost control, inventory control while overseeing workflow within the warehouse team.

**What will you do?**
- Shipping/receiving all goods to and from the warehouse;
- Internal QC review upon receipt of shipments, for both stocked and non-stocked goods;
- Organizing, labelling and shelving stock after QC is completed to ensure goods are easily identifiable;
- Ensuring service levels are met (re: on-time shipping, problem resolution);
- Overseeing the integrity of vendor packing slips and preparation of picking and packing slips in NetSuite;
- Preparing additional shipping documents (Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin etc.) that are required to accompany shipments;
- Notifying relevant parties of any stock defects, picking and/or shipment issues in a timely manner;
- Maintaining inventory of warehouse supplies such as boxes, tape, polybags within cost constraints;
- Coordinating all warehouse maintenance, upkeep and cleanliness activities;
- Adhering to all Health and Safety requirements and maintaining safe working practices and conditions in the facility, taking actions to correct any unsafe practices and/or conditions;
- Picking, kitting and packing orders for shipment;
- Maintaining inventory control;
- Preparing and conducting annual inventory counts and interim cycle counts;
- Reviewing daily status reports to determine workload and timeliness of facility efforts; planning work to meet objectives with minimum use of additional staff, when possible;
- Participating in staff meetings to discuss and promote general operating improvements and to plan for operations as well as special projects;
- Arranging transportation of products while adhering to cost control considerations;
- Lift truck/Straddle Stacker operator;
- Maintaining an up-to-date shipping/ receiving log;
- Largely (85%) operationally interactive requiring mobile interaction throughout the normal workday;
- Entails normal requirements for lifting (50 lbs.) and bending; entails excessive standing and walking;
- A valid driver’s license is required;
- Other duties as assigned.

**What will you need to succeed?**
- 5+ years of related warehouse experience;
- Completed post-secondary education;
- Experience in roles that require a significant level of attention to detail;
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills;
- Able to multi-task, managing many projects with accuracy, each with critical time lines in a fast-paced environment;
- Comfortable corresponding and speaking with internal stakeholders at various levels of authority;
- Works well in a collaborative team environment;
- Excellent English oral and written skills;
- Outlook, Word, Excel & Internet skills;
- Comfort using technology and shipping and inventory management software such as ERP or CRM systems (NetSuite experience is an asset).
