Dental Assistant Level Ii

**Experience**: Minimum 4 years of experience in a dental setting, Level 2 certification required, experience with Tracker. Evenings are a must
- there will be 2-3 evening per week, but no weekends
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as instructed by the dentist.
- Perform dental charting and record patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
- Assist with infection control procedures and maintain compliance with sterilization protocols.
- Provide chairside support and reassurance to patients during procedures to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with the dental team to optimize patient care and workflow efficiency.
- Maintain a pleasant and friendly attitude while interacting with patients and colleagues.
**Qualifications**:
- Level 2 Dental Assistant certification required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a dental assistant in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in dental software systems, with experience using Tracker
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
- Current CPR certification.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Ontario.
