**Job Details**
**What you will do**:
Under direct supervision, track and provide direct support for the Performance Infrastructure Installation Contract Business. Work with the PI Project Manager, Site Superintendent, and Regional Management to perform technical and administrative tasks that support the activities of a Performance Infrastructure Project Team.
**How you will do it**:
- Track status and log Project Submittals for consultant approval, ensuring that all required information for the submittal is included and identifying compliance issues to the appropriate parties.
- Take meeting minutes and distribute to the appropriate parties, as required.
- Gather Site Instructions, Variation Requests, Change Directives, and Field Changes and forward to the PI Project Manager
- Assist the Project Manager in the preparation and maintenance of Change Order Logs, Risks/Issues Logs, Project Construction Schedules, Cost & Resource Loaded Schedules, and Vendor Progress Claims
- Provide additional Operations Support, as required.
- Works with Major Project’s team to identify project objectives with alignment to the scope, budget and schedule.
- Ensures customer satisfaction and scope of work compliance through daily site inspections.
- Submits regular progress updates for incorporation into master plan/schedule to provide variance analysis reporting.
- Acts as project safety program coordinator.
- Coordinates with Regional and Branch Leadership through the assigned Major Projects Project Manager to ensure adequate resources to meet the project objectives.
- Resolves site conflicts regarding the sequencing of work and unforeseen conditions.
- Works with Project Manager in managing risks and assists in establishing project recovery plans. Ensures recovery plans are carried out.
- Ensures project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements and Johnson Controls policies and standards.
- Ensures subcontractors readily understand expectations of the project.
- Ensures that subcontractors provide adequate staffing levels to meet the project schedule.
**What we look for**:
REQUIRED
- Applied Technologies Diploma preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required,
- 5 - 10 years of related work experience, preferably within a construction or technical work environment.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.
- Must have the ability to simultaneously handle a large and diverse number of tasks and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.
- Ability to prioritize work activities based upon financial impact to desired business goals.
- Experience and/or basic project accounting or costing principals is desired.
- Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and demonstrate solid organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Must be eligible to obtain Enhanced Reliability Federal Government Security Clearance.
DESIRED
- Previous experience in the Construction Industry.
- College Diploma with a technical emphasis
- Project Co-ordination / Management experience
