As a scale clerk, you will be responsible for tracking the receipt and shipment of materials. You will weigh the material, produce the scale tickets, and respond appropriately to customers.What you will be responsible for:Greeting customers and offering courteous service upon arrivalWeighing trucks and entering information into the systemPreparing delivery slips and shipping documents in the softwareAnswering phone calls and redirecting inquiries as neededFollowing up on material shipments and producing the required reportsPerforming general office tasks (opening customer accounts, filing, invoicing, etc.)QualificationsTo join our team:You have previous experience in a similar position (an asset)You have good proficiency with MS OfficeYou are organized, responsible, autonomous, and resourcefulYou are able to work efficiently as part of a team
