Positive energy and...Hold a technical or university degree in forest management and environment, forest operations, environmental studies, engineering, forestry, biology, or another relevant field;Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position;Being a member of the Quebec Order of Forest Engineers is considered an asset;Demonstrate advanced knowledge of environmental standards to be respected on construction sites (exemple: RADF, EQA, Fisheries Act, Species at Risk Act, etc.);Know ArcGIS software and have good technological skills;Demonstrate an advanced level of bilingualism in English and French, written and spoken;Experience in the construction industry and its health and safety standards, an asset.What you will do to complete this mission successfully:Ensure planning, environmental monitoring of wind turbine construction work, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and monitoring of current mandates (deadlines and budgets);Ensure environmental monitoring of civil works, including land clearing, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team;Validate compliance with specifications, monitoring plans, laws, regulations and conditions of regulatory authorities;Maintain up-to-date knowledge of appropriate legislation;Communicate with clients, subcontractors, approval authorities, project stakeholders;Collaborate in obtaining environmental permits and certificates of authorization;Propose solutions to problems related to the environment;Participate in the development of new tools and services offered by the company;Collaborate in obtaining exemptions or additional authorizations, if necessary;Participate in site meetings;Write monitoring reports;Perform other related duties.
