Job#: 3013597 Job Description: Quality Analyst Technician – Audio Visual (AV) SystemsApex Systems is a global IT services provider and our staffing practice has an opening for a Quality Analyst Technician to place at our client, a top Canadian Bank Client: A top Canadian Bank Terms: 6 months, with possibility to extendLocation onsite- Downtown-Application Process: It is best to apply via the medium on which you are seeing this posting. If you encounter technical difficulties submitting your resume, please send a Word version of your resume to  Please reference Quality Analyst TechnicianKey Responsibilities:Perform QA/QC testing on AV systems including Crestron, Flex/MTR(s), SurfaceHubs, Dante, Biamp, QSYS, and related technologies.Test and troubleshoot conference room cameras (Poly, PTZ, OneBeyond, QSYS, Huddly, Logi) for performance, alignment, and integration.Ensure seamless integration of Microsoft Teams and Office 365 with AV systems.Conduct network compatibility testing (Wi-Fi, PoE, firewall/security) and validate data flow, latency, and connection stability.Use QSYS for operational testing, configuration, and performance verification.Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to resolve integration issues and optimize AV performance.Document test results, issues, and resolutions in a clear and repeatable format.Support AV system deployment and provide technical guidance during troubleshooting phases.Apply QA/QC best practices to ensure reliability, safety, and performance standards are met.Required Qualifications:1–3 years of hands-on experience in AV technologies and systems.Proven experience with Crestron, QSYS, SurfaceHubs, Dante, Biamp, and related platforms.Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and UC technologies.Experience working with conference room AV setups and camera systems.Familiarity with network technologies including Wi-Fi, PoE, and firewall/security applications.Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve AV system issues.Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working in fast-paced, ad hoc environments.Preferred Qualifications:Operational experience with QSYS in live environments.Exposure to trade floor AV systems, IPT, and digital delay technologies.Industry certification such as AQAV9000 or equivalent is a plus.Snapshot of Ideal Candidates:1–2 candidates with deep expertise in Crestron and QSYS (Lead-level preferred).All candidates must have strong QA/QC and AV troubleshooting experience.Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across engineering and IT teams.If you are not a 99% match to the above, and want to be considered for other opportunities at our enterprise clients, register for our Talent Network where you can receive job alerts about new opportunities that match your interests. Click here to Register for our Talent Network EEO EmployerApex is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
