Geological Modelling Internship

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:Supporting the 3D modelling team within the Geology Department of AEM’s Technical Services Group by undertaking various tasks including (but not limited to) compilation, database validation, interpretation of geological or geometallurgical data and 3D modelling mandates. Possibility of field work depending on projects assigned.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDàCurrently enrolled in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of a Geology or Geological Engineering Bachelor of Science or Master of Science program in a Canadian university;àStrong interest and aptitude for learning various software applications;àExperience using Leapfrog, Iogas, Supervisor or Datamine is an asset;àTeam-oriented and collaborative;àGood oral and written communication skills in English;àAbility to communicate in French or Spanish is a plus;àFlexibility and adaptability;àCommitment to maintaining confidentiality;àRelocate to one of our department hubs for the duration of the internship: Rouyn-Noranda, Val d’Or, Montreal (Mirabel) or Toronto.
