Must understand TAX, T4's, Year End and ROE's.Recruitment experience in warehouse roles and some officeDayforce is highly preferredDetailed oriented and highly organizedKEY RESPONSIBILITIESRecruitment & Onboarding: Assist in talent acquisition and full cycle of recruitment process from recruitment plans to new hire orientation.Benefits, Payroll and Compensation: Administer employee benefits programs, process payroll for hourly and salaried employees (bi-weekly), manage payroll inquiries, and assist with performance appraisals.Employee Relations: Assist in addressing employee grievances, resolve conflicts, and facilitate disciplinary actions in compliance with company policies and labor laws.Policy Development & Compliance: Assist in creating, updating, and implementing Job Descriptions, HR policies and procedures, ensuring they comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Training & Development: Assist in developing and coordinating training programs and support employee career development.Employee Engagement: Assist in designing and implementing initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement within the organization.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized physical and digital employee files, including attendance, benefits, vacation, and performance data.Relationship Building: Building and maintaining relationships with Operations and third party recruitment agencies.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIESSupport with HR-related matters: Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leave of absences, compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.HR Metrics: Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover ratesExit interviews and Offboarding: Conduct employee Exit interview and offboarding process (checklist and close out items)Government grants:
