Wastewater Technical Specialist

Description :Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Wastewater Technical Specialist to join our team In this role you will be doing various design assignment related to water/wastewater projects.What You'll Be Doing:Be able to independently carry out designs of collection, conveyance, and disposal of wastewater networks.Provide input to CAD Designer/Drafters working on the same project. The specialist will be required to carry out CAD related tasks while using special 3D software and model creation.Shall have advance experience and knowledge of preparing and developing hydraulic models for gravity network, design reports and Bentley SewerCAD / SewerGems, and Infoworks CS.Various design assignments requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories studied in a four-year university engineering program, and available data in the civil engineering field.Prepare or assist in preparing fundamental computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs. Assists in the preparation of detailed requisitions for material purchase, services, and subcontracts.Will perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor's degreeinCivil / Hydraulics / Water/ Environmental Engineering(or related field).A minimum5 yearsof related workexperience in Wet Utilitieslikepotable water, waste water, sewerage networks projects.Skilled in the application of BIM.Requires engineering knowledge in the design of sewerage/ potable water networks/Irrigation networks.Familiarity with software likeAutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Bentley WaterCAD / WaterGems / OpenUtilitiesor related software and other PC software packages typically associated with wet services engineering is also required.Have strong English language speaking and writing skill.This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
