THE ROLEJoin us in building next-level creative pipelines Youll develop Python scripts, Houdini nodes, and HDAs to streamline creative workflows and pipeline integration. Working closely with teams, youll tackle deployment challenges, optimize performance, and drive innovation in an Agile environment. You'll also document your work and empower users to leverage new pipeline capabilities.WHAT YOU'LL DODevelop Python scripts, Houdini nodes and Houdini Digital Assets (HDA) for the efficient management of creative dataParticipate in daily scrums and interviews with stakeholders to ensure the successful gathering of requirements, planning and execution for all tasks involved in delivering a pipeline that integrates with other aspects of the overall projectCollaborate and contribute with peers in an Agile development environment, including conducting code reviews to ensure quality and standards are maintainedIdentify challenging aspects of integration and deployment of the pipeline in production together with members of the client studioContribute to documenting design, implementation and usage of the pipelineEducate end users on how to take advantage of new capabilities unlocked by the pipelineWHO YOU AREBSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields7+ years experience developing pipeline solutions in a visual-effects or animation-production studio, or a combination of an advanced degree plus relevant work experienceHighly skilled in the use of Houdini, including in the creation and maintenance of HDAs and VEX codeExperience writing Python code for creative pipelines, with special focus on the relevant Houdini modulesExpert in workflows and pipelines for VFX productionAdept at writing code for asset-management systemsFamiliarity with Katana and/or MayaExperience working collaboratively with version control (e.g., Git)Working familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processSelf-motivated with strong communication skills and able to work both in a team and independentlyAbility to work with minimal direction and manage a project independently from start to finishProof of eligibility to work in the United StatesCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSThe annual compensation includes equity (per qualifications)The annual salary range for this position is $125,000 to $160,000 plus equity (per qualifications)The base pay offered will take into account internal parity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factorsHealth Insurance - Medical, Dental, Vision and Life InsuranceDiscounts on movie tickets, theme parks, hotels, Broadway and Vegas shows, shopping partners & moreFlexible working environment and moreADDITIONAL INFODigitalFish is an equal opportunities employer ensuring that all applicants are treated equally and fairly throughout our recruitment process.
