Our client in Markham Ontario who is a large lighting manufacturer is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join their team This position features: Base salary: $60,000/year-$100,000/year. Commission Structure:· Earning Potential: Up to $120,000 total compensation upon achieving annual targets but there’s no cap on commission.Benefits: · $2000 a year healthcare spending account· Bonuses· 3 weeks vacation · 5 personal days· 3 sick daysHours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm. Fully on site Candidate will be assigned a Territory & will be travelling about 40% of the time. They will go to the Territory about 6 times a year & stay for about 2-5 days at a time to meet with clients directly. Employment Type: Full time permanent Responsibilities: · Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing for high-value, complex accounts within your assigned territory.· Grow all accounts transitioned from Business Development Executives (BDEs) and Inside Sales Executives (ISEs), ensuring they continue to expand.·Prospect and generate new qualified leads via outbound efforts and industry networking.· Collaborate with Marketing to co-create go-to-market strategies tailored to your region.· Conduct in-person and virtual client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.· Submit timely and detailed sales activity updates, forecasts, and account data into the company CRM.· Work closely with the Customer Success team for post-sale support, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities.· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, production timelines, and customer requirements.· Travel for client visits, trade shows, and site inspections as required (approximately 25–40% travel).· Participate in quarterly sales-marketing planning sessions to align regional priorities.Requirements:· 1-7 years of experience in lighting or custom product manufacturing industries· Familiarity with CRM best practices· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Architecture, Design, Engineering, or related field is a must – Must have mechanical and electrical knowledge to explain the product and design to clients and prospects· Proven track record of exceeding quotas and managing complex customer relationships· Polished and presentable · Think outside the box· Ability to reach out & speak with c-level executives – Must be a true hunter to land and expand the business · Excellent communication skills · Eager to learn & grow
