Compensation: $32 – $38/ hour (full-time / permanent) The Job – Drywaller/Painter Join On Side Restoration as a Drywaller/Painter and help rebuild homes and businesses after disaster strikes. You’ll repair and finish drywall, apply textures, and bring spaces to life with fresh paint. What you bring as a Drywaller/Painter 5+ years of drywall repair experience (cutting, mudding, sanding, taping, painting) Brush/roller/spray gun paint experience to finish the area for uniformity and completion Construction experience and tool proficiency: you have your own tools for the job Strong communication and people skills Detail-oriented, quality-driven, safety-focused Valid driver’s licence and clean criminal record (we do check) English communication skills written and spoken What you’re responsible for… Measure, cut, install, and repair damaged drywall Tape, mud, sand, and texture surfaces Prepare and protect work sites Prepare surfaces and apply primers, paints, stains, or finishes Match colors and apply coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray guns Install wall coverings Other stuff that’ll help you be successful but isn’t mandatory: Drywall Finisher or Plasterer ticket Painter ticket WHMIS First Aid What’s in it for you?
