We are proud of our work and commitment to create one of the leading workforce, products and services in the Aviation industry.About the Role:Reporting The Warehouse Technician (General) reports directly to the Senior Materials Manager. Core CompetenciesInterpersonal skillsOrganizational skillsAttention to detailRelationship buildingProfessionalismTeamworkKey Performance Indicators / Duties & ResponsibilitiesCarry out inspection and verification of aircraft parts and components to ensure inventory accuracy.Inspect aircraft parts and components certification paperwork, ensuring compliance with Transport Canada regulations and Avmax policies and procedures.Receive, sort, and stock materials to the location assigned in the ERP system.Report unserviceable parts and components to the Lead Inventory Analyst.Assist in creating and maintaining records on the receipt or distribution of aircraft materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies. Examine inbound shipments for accuracy and condition, sort the shipments, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure timely receipt of all shipments.Ensure physical inventory counts of aviation parts and equipment match the ERP system records.Maintaining an organized receiving bay and warehouse area by offloading trucks and facilitating distribution activities.Mitigating the risk of loss or damage by packing and handling material appropriately.Providing ongoing support for the Warehouse Team and providing cross-functional daily support with picking, receiving inspection, outbound shipping, and distribution, as required.Providing training and supporting the training needs of other teams.Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and notifying management of any safety concerns.Other tasks as required.QualificationsMinimum high school diploma or equivalent.
