Seeking a passionate and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive into this exciting opportunity Are you up for the challenge?Our Client is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist looking to join their team starting mid February 2026 for a 12 month contract. Reporting to the Lead, Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for the full cycle recruitment of for their Alberta location. With a focus on technical recruitment, you will be working for a company that is a leader in their field. This is a long term, temporary position with plenty of variety and excitement, no two days will be the sameWorking closely with the Talent Acquisition leader and the rest of the team, this position focuses hiring technical and professional talent, collaborating with hiring managers, and providing your full expertise when it comes to sourcing quality talent. You will be a self-starter, enjoy a great performing team and understand how and when to support others. To be completed as part of pre-employment:- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Reliability and Secret Level II / NATO Secret security clearances (including Canadian citizenship history requirements for 5 years).Advantages- 12 month contract- Competitive hourly wage- Fully remote- 4% vacation pay- Benefits offered through Securian Canada- Flexible full time hours - Laptop provided- Vibrant, fun and busy working environment- Work on some fantastic projects, alongside a supportive team of professionals across Canada- Opportunity for professionally growthResponsibilities- Responsible for the full life cycle of recruiting-sourcing a strong pipeline of qualified candidates - Collaborate with hiring managers to meet staffing needs- Recruit and source candidates using sourcing techniques - Pre-screen potential candidates for full-time employee openings- Prepare salary analysis in collaboration with compensation specialists and HR Business Partner- Actively participate in professional networking groups, job fairs, and other recruiting events- Uphold legal requirements and company hiring policies, and coach and guide managers accordingly- Proactive tracking of progress and all work in applicant tracking system to ensure metrics are captured and goals are met- Actively participate in special projects as required- Some travel may be requiredQualifications- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 4 years of prior related experience in full cycle recruiting with active sourcing, or Graduate Degree or equivalent with 2 years of prior related experience.
