Hiring Support Executive in Montreal, Quebec

Location: Montreal, Quebec Duration: 06 Months Experience Required: 8 years Job Description: The candidate will be part of the Data Distribution Infrastructure L3 support team within the Enterprise Computing Organization. The team is responsible for managing and supporting a variety of reporting and data transfer products/applications, including proprietary systems and vendor products used by external clients. Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered): Minimum 7 years of experience working in an operations support role. Strong knowledge of HTTP, SQL, databases, and general data transfer technologies. Comfortable with system administration of Unix/Linux and Windows infrastructure applications. Proficient in scripting operational administration tasks in Java, PowerShell, Python (preferred), Perl, Shell Scripting, or other languages. Experience in troubleshooting complex issues related to network, databases, storage, security, and operating systems. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in high-pressure situations for incident and problem management. Effective oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Availability for weekend and on-call work on a rotation basis. Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required): Experience with proprietary systems like COMET and Blastmail. Familiarity with vendor products such as Connect Direct (NDM). Additional experience in enterprise computing environments. Knowledge of additional scripting languages. Experience in a brokerage or financial services environment. Day-to-Day Responsibilities (Key tasks and expectations for the role): Provide L3 support for data distribution infrastructure. Manage and support reporting and data transfer products/applications. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
