Title: Senior Data Engineer – Azure Data Platforms Location: Toronto, Ontario Duration: 6 Months Salary Range: C$49 On T4 Introduction Join a dynamic team at a leading company where you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and products. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to enhance our data ecosystem, ensuring our data products are standardized, governed, and ready for AI integration. Required Skills & Qualifications 10 years of experience in a Data Engineer, BI Engineer, or similar role Strong expertise in Client Fabric, Data Factory, Power BI, and Data Lakehouse architectures Experience integrating and transforming data from SAP BW and ERP systems Proficiency in advanced SQL, Python, Java, C#, KQL, and PowerShell scripts Proven track record of building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines at scale Familiarity with data governance, lineage, observability, and Data Ops Strong collaboration skills for working across technical and business teams Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with real-time data integration Experience in performance tuning and optimization of large-scale data systems Continuous improvement mindset, staying current with modern data engineering practices Day-to-Day Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines Engineer standardized data products focusing on quality, discoverability, and reusability Implement automation patterns and frameworks to accelerate data product creation Develop and optimize semantic models, star schemas, and data warehouse structures Ensure compliance with data governance, lineage, and quality standards Troubleshoot and optimize pipelines for high performance and reliability Company Benefits & Culture Inclusive and diverse work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive team culture that values collaboration and innovation For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
