Charter flights are provided from Calgary or Edmonton to site. While working on-site, workers will be staying at the Wapasu camp which will provide hot meals, lodging, workout facilities, Wi-Fi, commissary and much more The successful candidate would be working 12 hours per day, on a 14/14 shift which allows for a good work life balance. Competitive rates, opportunities to move around the plant and working with a team with a "safety first" mindset make this role ideal Steamfitter – pipefitters lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.  Pipefitters also remove and replace worn components, do general maintenance work and may work on plant shut-downs. Responsibilities:Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving and bending of pipes, valves and fittings.Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair pressurized piping systems.Hydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required.
