The PM will ensure productivity and successful completion of each project by ensuring project plans are on time and on budget, discrepancies are dealt with quickly and effectively, customer relationship management practices are in place, risks are identified and mitigated, and processes are adhered to by staff.Responsibilities Participates in the sales/estimating hand-off meeting to ensure the full project charter and objectives are understood, and all required information has been provided from sales/estimating.Creates detailed project work plans by identifying the resources, equipment, and financing needed for the successful execution, progress, and completion of the project according to customer defined milestones and internal cost budgets.Creates a schedule and manpower plan for the project and coordinates the tradesmen to ensure the schedule is met.Manages all day-to-day operational aspects of the project.Continuously monitors the scope, schedule and financial health of assigned projects. Monthly, participates in a project review including an estimated cost at completion (ECAC) and early identification of all issues impacting the success of the project.Communicates regularly with all project stakeholders on the status of the project, which includes the client, management, personnel, and suppliers.Ensures any customer satisfaction issues are identified immediately and resolved or brought to management’s attention if additional help is required to resolve the issue.Identifies further opportunities on a project and acts upon them.Builds and maintains excellent client relationships.Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulationsAdhere to the Company’s Quality System operating proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by ManagementQualifications A minimum of 5-7 years of related field experience.College/University graduatePMP an assetStrength in PipingProven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of internal and external individuals.Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize a heavy workload.Proven systematic and organized approach to multi-tasking.Effective customer service as well as verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project applicationsDemonstrated organizational, interpersonal, time management and conflict resolution skills.Ability to multi-task, work within a fast paced environment, and prioritize conflicting demands.Why work at Ainsworth?
