This role is critical in ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability between platforms such as ERP, CRM, and cloud services. You’ll work at the intersection of business operations and technology, applying systems thinking and technical expertise to deliver scalable integration solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.Key Responsibilities:Integration DevelopmentBuild robust, scalable integrations between ERP, CRM, and other business-critical systemsDesign and develop solutions to connect disparate systemsMaintain data quality and synchronization across systems using APIs and webhooksArchitecture & StandardsEvaluate and recommend integration technologies, platforms, and methodologiesCreate technical specifications, integration blueprints and data mappingsEstablish and promote efficient and cost-effective integration standards, patterns, and best practices across the organizationDevelopment & OperationsWrite clean, well-documented code, primarily in Python and JavaScriptParticipate in code reviews and maintain development best practicesConfigure and manage cloud-based integration platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)Implement error handling, logging, and monitoringDocument integration flows, data mappings, and system dependenciesParticipate in technical reviews and architecture discussionsImplement security protocols and data governance for system connectionsCollaboration & SupportWork closely with cross-functional teams, including DevSecOps and external vendors as requiredAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration solutionsTroubleshoot integration issues and provide ongoing technical supportAssist in planning and executing system upgrades and migrationsRequired Qualifications3–5 years of software development experience (5+ years preferred)Proficient in Python; working knowledge of JavaScript (React, Node.js)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version controlFamiliarity with NoSQL databases and RESTful APIsProven experience building and maintaining system integrationsExperience with enterprise software ecosystemsRelated experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Epicor)Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho)Understanding of security best practices for systems integrationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldRelevant certifications in cloud or integration technologiesProfessional CompetenciesStrong systems thinking and ability to understand complex interdependenciesTechnical Leadership: Capability to guide technical decisions and mentor othersProject management experience with integration timelines and deliverablesExcellent communication and ability to explain complex technical concepts to business stakeholdersAdvanced troubleshooting and root cause analysisSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing business requirements and technologiesDemonstrated success in driving continuous improvement initiatives across processes, teams, or systemsReports to: Director – Business EnablementLocation: On-site in Kitchener-Waterloo areaAre you a good match?
