Responsibilities Batching concrete using a computerized batching systemManaging on hand inventory to meet daily production requirements (cement/aggregates/admixtures)Receiving and entering delivery slips for cementitious materials, aggregates, and admixturesDaily cleaning, inspecting, and maintenance of the batching system and surrounding areasMaintaining a healthy environment with respect to cleanliness, production, and safetyClean out mixer at the end of each batchOther duties as requiredRequirementsAbility to do manual work such as digging trenches and lifting more than 50lbsStrong work ethic and attention to detailAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentComfortable with technology such as computersAbility to read and writeFamiliarity with hand tools such as drills, air chisels, etc.Must be able to work with changing schedules and irregular hours when requiredPrevious labour experience within a concrete industry is an assetAs a member of the OSCO Construction Group, Strescon Limited offers a comprehensive compensation package including health and dental coverage, life insurance, RRSP and tax-free savings account options.
