You'll manage inventory, handle incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintain an organized, efficient warehouse environment. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in contributing to the overall success of the team. You'll work closely with different departments to ensure all orders are processed and delivered on time, playing a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly.Job Duties: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentationPrepare and pack outgoing shipments, ensuring they meet company standards and deadlinesMaintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks and updating as neededOrganize and store parts and materials in designated locations for easy access and retrievalCoordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillmentOperate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficientlyAssist with loading and unloading shipments, ensuring safe handling of all itemsHandle returns and exchanges, processing them promptly and accuratelyEnsure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of hazardsFollow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environmentRequired Skills and Qualifications: Valid Class 5 driver's licenseAbility to operate forklifts (certification preferred)Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operationsFamiliarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication skills and ability to work well in a team environmentPhysical ability to lift and move heavy itemsStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasksAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentCommitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environmentVelocity Truck Centres is an equal opportunity employer.#HP01Job Posted by ApplicantPro
