At ODRA Road Sweepers, the Production & Procurement Planner plays a critical role in ensuring our US & Canada operations have the components they need, on time and at the right cost. This role combines production planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination to support manufacturing and service.You will manage material flow across our warehouses, source and purchase parts from domestic and international suppliers, and maintain inventory accuracy to keep our builds running smoothly.Role OverviewThe Production & Procurement Planner is responsible for ensuring we have sourced sufficient materials and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective availability of components. You'll oversee inbound shipments, negotiate with vendors, and align material needs with production requirements. This role is key to balancing operational efficiency with strategic purchasing initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSource materials based on production schedules, sales orders, forecasts, and inventory targetsNegotiate and purchase materials and components from domestic and international suppliersIdentify and qualify new suppliers to support cost savings and supply continuityPlan container shipments from overseas vendors and coordinate inbound logisticsMonitor part availability and ensure Just-In-Time supply for production and service teamsMaintain accurate supplier records, lead times, and pricing in ERP systemCollaborate with warehouse, production, purchasing, and engineering teams to align on material needsTrack supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues promptlySupport audits, year-end inventory, and continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and logisticsEnsure shipping documentation, labeling, and carrier coordination is handled accurately and on timeQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred)3+ years of experience in materials planning and procurement within a manufacturing environmentStrong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationshipsExperience coordinating with multiple warehouses or production locations is an assetProficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., JobBOSS) is a plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsClear and confident communicator, comfortable working cross-functionallyWhy Join ODRACompetitive salary depending on skills and experienceWork in a growing company with global operations and a close-knit teamTake ownership of material flow and procurement across all North American facilitiesEmployer-paid benefits and paid time offCareer growth opportunities in a company that values initiative and continuous improvementAll tools, resources, and training providedJob Posted by ApplicantPro
