TPH has been named North America's most forest-friendly printer and one of Canada's Greenest Employers.We are currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Finishing & Fabrication Specialist (Bindery Operator) who will be responsible for post-press production including cutting, folding, binding, laminating, and more.Job TypeFull-time, PermanentCompensation range: $21.00–$23.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefitsDental CareEmployee Assistance ProgramLife InsurancePrescription Drug CoverageVision CarePaid Time OffExtended Health CareLearning and DevelopmentRewards and RecognitionCore ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate finishing and bindery equipment (cutters, folders, collators, stitchers, laminators, mounting machines).Operate mailing technology including postage meters, inserters, and addressing equipment.Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy; make adjustments as needed.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of bindery and mailing equipment.Handle print items ranging from small cards to large-format displays (up to 4ft x 8ft).Maintain accurate records of production and mailing activities.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.Core Skills & Experience RequiredMinimum 2 years of experience in bindery, finishing, or fabrication roles.Proficiency in operating bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, laminators).Experience with mailing technology (postage meters, inserters, addressing systems).Ability to read and interpret job orders and production specifications.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Familiarity with shipping carriers (Canada Post, UPS, FedEx) is an asset.Preferred QualificationsExperience in a fast-paced print production environment.Knowledge of large-format finishing and display fabrication.Work Location: In Person, Mississauga, ONOther Titles: Bindery Operator, Print Production WorkerCommitment to Diversity, Inclusion, Accessibility & Anti-RacismTPH is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is respected and valued for their contributions and has opportunity to grow and develop.
