We currently have an opportunity for an Industrial Electrician at our Richardson Port Terminal located in Thunder Bay. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position will provide support for electrical repair and maintenance of plant equipment in a heavy industrial environment.Responsibilities:Installs, modifies, repairs and maintains electrical circuits, devices and equipmentTroubleshoots and diagnoses electrical and control equipmentParticipates in training related to this positionOperates in accordance with health, safety, and fire prevention regulations and practicesProvides assistance to other Maintenance team membersResponds to after-hours emergency calls on a rotational basisQualifications:RequirementsRed Seal Journeyman Electrician with 2+ years of heavy industrial experience.Skilled in troubleshooting electrical schematics, automation, and plant equipment.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in confined spaces, heights, and extreme conditions.Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and other computer applications.Safety-focused, with a strong work ethic and availability for shifts, shutdowns, and emergency call-ins.AssetDiploma of TechnologyStrong IT backgroundNetworking experience (Ethernet, Profibus and Modbus)Programming experienceAny other mechanical trades, fabricator would be considered an assetRichardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan and training and career development opportunities.
