What We Offer We offer a range of employee benefits and services for eligible positions, to support you at every stage of your career: • Employee & Family Assistance Program • Employer paid training/education opportunities • Generous Vacation Entitlement • Employer Paid Health Benefits • Municipal Pension Plan • Shift Premiums • Competitive wages About the Job Food Service Worker: • Portioning and serving meals and beverages within a dining room and/or cafeteria operation. • Counts, weighs and/or measures ingredients for assigned food preparation area. • Washing and peeling vegetables and fruit. • Assembles beverages and food items - tea, coffee, sandwiches, salads, bag lunches, items for Meals on Wheels program. • Setting up and delivering meal carts. • Cleaning of food service areas. This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis. Shifts of work will be days and nights rotating from 06:45 to 14:55, 09:30 to 17:40, 07:30 to 11:30, 11:45 to 19:55, 14:45 to 19:55, 07:30 to 15:30 hours.
