You'll work with teams throughout the organization to strengthen our risk management practices and build a strong risk-aware culture. What you'll be doing: Lead Risk Management InitiativesPartner with teams across the organization to implement and improve our operational risk management (ORM) and enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworksGuide the organization through risk assessments including Risk Control Self-Assessments, New Initiative Risk Assessments, and Fraud Risk AssessmentsMonitor and report on operational risks across the organization Drive Risk Awareness and EducationDevelop training programs that help employees understand risk in their day-to-day workBuild a consistent approach to risk management throughout Central 1Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on operational risk topics Support Decision-MakingCreate clear, actionable risk reports for managementProvide input on policies, standards, and procedures to strengthen our internal controlsMaintain our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform Lead Projects and CollaborateFacilitate meetings with stakeholders at all levelsCreate project plans and drive initiatives forwardBuild strong working relationships across different teams and functionsWhat you'll have:Degree in finance, risk, business, or related field (risk designation preferred)5+ years of progressive risk management experience (business line experience is a plus)Strong analytical and quantitative abilitiesUnderstanding of treasury and payments businessesKnowledge of risk management concepts: operational risk, Risk Appetite, RCSA, Third Party Risk Management, Technology Risk, and operational resilienceExperience with GRC platforms, risk analytics tools, and Microsoft SuiteExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to break down complex situations into clear, manageable stepsStrong communication skills—you can explain complex risk concepts to senior leaders and non-risk audiencesProven ability to build trust and manage relationships across different teamsExperience writing policies, standards, and proceduresSubject matter expertise in technology, information security, fraud management, or other operational risk areasSalary range: $100,000-$112,000The salary range represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role.
