The site emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and strict adherence to safety and security protocols at all times.Position: Part Time Security GuardSite: Enbridge Gas Milton, 8015 Esquesing Line, Milton, ON L9T 5C8Hours: Saturday & Sunday (1900-0700 hrs)Pay Rate: $18.82 /hourAveraging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement after 88 hrsPosting Date: Nov 27 2025Internal Closing Date: Dec 04, 2025External Closing Date: Dec 04, 2025Job Description:Demonstrate full understanding and compliance with site's security policies and procedures, applying a professional and customer service–focused approach.Maintain an open, objective, and respectful attitude toward diverse community while assisting employees, visitors, and contractors.Perform access control, monitor CCTV and fire panels, and ensure all security systems and measures are functioning properly.Conduct proactive interior and exterior patrols to identify policy breaches, safety hazards, and facility concerns, reporting them promptly.Respond quickly and professionally to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, maintaining calm and preventing unnecessary disruption.De-escalate crises, provide support, and coordinate with emergency services such as police, fire, and paramedics when required.Deliver first aid and medical assistance as needed, and manage Lost & Found inquiries in accordance with company procedures.Maintain accurate and timely incident, patrol, and activity reports, ensuring all documentation meets company standards.Promote a safe, respectful, and cooperative work environment by fostering positive relationships with staff, clients, and the public, and by complying with all health and safety regulations.Perform other related duties as assigned by the Security Leadership Team or Site management.Qualifications:Must hold a valid G-Class driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years of total driving experience and be able to provide an clean driver’s abstract/record covering the past 3 years.Must be comfortable with a dashboard camera recording device installed and operating in the company vehicle at all timesKnowledge of access control, CCTV, fire equipment and fire monitoring systemsProficiency in Computer literacyAbility to sit/stand and walk/climb stairs throughout the building & push min. 25lbsMinimum of one year of experience in a security role is requiredA Valid Ontario Security Guard License & First AID CPR CProficient in English (both oral and written)Customer Service Experience is considered an assetMust be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionLegally authorized to work in CanadaPlease be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availabilityWhy Choose Paladin:Opportunities for training and professional developmentCompetitive salary and benefits packageFree UniformsSecurity license reimbursementDry cleaning & hemming/tailoring allowancePaid vacation & sick daysWork today, get paid today—daily pay availableAdditional perks
